1979 – Seattle, WA @ Center Coliseum

Van Halen play Seattle on their 1979 World Vacation Tour.  This show is either 4/12 or 4/13.  Decent quality bootleg.  On April 13th they would also do a record store appearance / autograph session at Music Market. Check out the unearthed, candid photos of that day over at VHND.com

Your article gave me a lot of inspiration, I hope you can explain your point of view in more detail, because I have some doubts, thank you.

Seattle Arena, opened for Black Sabbath.
Black Sabbath and Van Halen performed together in Seattle on November 9, 1978. Van Halen opened for Black Sabbath on the first leg of their Never Say Die! tour in Europe that year. Some say the show was great and that Black Sabbath played many songs from their first six albums, while Van Halen’s first album was a sonic assault. Ozzy Osbourne has also said that they were stunned when they walked into the dressing room after seeing Van Halen perform “Eruption”.
